At ooba, we’re moving away from the traditional ’top-down’ approach to performance management. Instead, we’re developing a process and interaction that is empowering for all our people.

Our new performance management system is underpinned by neuro-scientific theory and the key principles are:

  • Partner for performance: We treat each other with respect and conduct adult-to-adult conversations that result in meaningful results and relationships. The goal is to help our people to perform and achieve success in their work. We believe that performance is best self-directed and we want to support you in this.
  • Recognition: We recognize and engage with you as a whole person, professionally and personally. We want you to bring your whole self to work and feel comfortable being yourself at ooba.
