The sort of person suited to a career in insurance sales at ooba’s contact-centre is someone who is self-motivated, ambitious, chases goals, can handle stress, and can run with the directions given to them.

You don’t necessarily have to be young to succeed in sales, as you can be any age and be successful.

The career and growth opportunities here are very real. Take myself as an example: I started off as a Sales Consultant, then I was promoted to Team Leader and now I’m the Manager of the Insurance Contact-Centre team.

What we look for in a good Insurance Sales Consultant is someone with a lot of energy, who is articulate on the telephone and comes across well. It helps if you have a good track record in sales too.
