  • Min’ 3+ years proven exp’ managing a Short Term Insurance (STI) Claims function or a significant claims operation.
  • Exp’ managing TPAs or outsourced service providers is adv’.
  • Knowledge and exp’ managing SLAs, supplier relationships and service delivery.
  • Strong understanding of claims costs, leakage, loss ratios, fraud and ops performance.
  • Technical knowledge of STI claims processes, specifically for HoC, as well as the claims lifecycle and decision-making.
  • Exp’ in process design, SLA management, SOP implementation, and understanding insurance governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) as well as analytical and reporting capability (loss ratios, complaints, claims trends, etc).
  • Proof of registration and compliance with FSCA.
  • Completed current RE5 certification and NQF L5 Higher certificate in STI.
  • Completed matric or equivalent essential.
